About Me:

I am a Mechanical Engineer. I formed my first company, Spinal Innovations, with three other partners in 1996. Spinal Innovations was a spinal fusion device design and manufacturing company. We successfully sold Spinal Innovations in 2006.

Since then I started my own venture capital company, Arc Resource Capital, LLC, and have invested in two other companies, Blue Street Studions, Inc. and Home Stretch Media, LLC.

Blue Street Studios, Inc. is developing music powered video games, whereby the gamer solves a quest game by learning and following the lyrics of music from a favorite artist that the quest game is based upon. Our first product is expected to be released during Q1 of '10 with the rock band KISS through Universal Music. The games are delivered to the gamer/customer in both cd form in the music cd jacket and can also be downloaded over the internet. Each song (single) on the cd has a corresponding game (gamgle). As the gamer solves each gamgle according to the lyrics of the song, the band or artist performs the song in animated form (animated video cinema). Blue Street Studios' games (gamgles) are a value add for the music industry to provide the music purchaser another reason to buy the music.

Home Stretch Media, LLC has produced a pilot television show to fit in the home genre market along side the do-it-yourself trend, except this show teaches viewers how to select, vet and work with contractors to get projects done right the first time at their homes. The show has a celebrity and comedy twist to it that makes it both highly entertaining and informative. The show also provides a powerful product and services branding engine. About My Business:

I like to play in the shallow end of the pool, truly helping entrepreneurs get great new ideas off the ground. Through Arc Resouce Capital, LLC, I provide seed money for entrepreneurs currently from $50k to $500k in order to get an idea going. I also take an active role in managing the company or idea in order to get that idea to market. Four critical things that I have learned over the years that help guide my investing are: 1) Anyone can have a great idea; 2) For any great idea that you come up with, someone else usually has it as well; 3) Therefore, first to market equals first to win; and 4) Greed kills deals and stifles an entrepreneur's enthusiam and passion to complete the project.

I love the start up process and all of the excitement around the great ideas and the entrepreneurs. I joined this site/network in order to network with other investors and entrepreneurs. I can give assistance to other investors from my experiences and I can use assistance from other investors for new ideas and challenges with which I'm unfamiliar.
