OneCubicle is a social business network created to help young workers brand themselves professionally, build their careers and expand their network. It provides a social business arena for 20-somethings by creating access to entry level jobs and internships, career advice that is relevant to them, and a social media platform for each individual to build their professional brand. OneCubicle serves an underrepresented class of job seekers and workers, namely the massive and very lucrative audience of 20-somethings, by providing career services not currently in the marketplace. California colleges have already embraced OneCubicle as a free and important resource to their students. OneCubicle's jobs page offers entry level positions and internships that far outnumber larger sites like Linkedin. Multiple revenue streams are in place with career resources like our micro-transaction "Resume Refiner," job postings that fit today's Human Resource budgets, and a "white label" solution for Fortune 500 companies’ intranet services. With an estimated 67% of 20-somethings participating in social networking, and approximately 50 million young professionals working in cubicles, this "workforce" will serve as the foundation for OneCubicle’s rapid growth over the next 5 years. Similar to the way in which 20-somethings brand themselves "personally" on Facebook, college graduates will utilize OneCubicle.com to brand themselves “professionally” year after year. |
