Pay-per-call 900 phone number lines do not have the best reputation, but they may be an appropriate revenue-generator or service add-on for your product or service. You can provide entertainment or give out information with the lines. Date lines, talk lines, sports lines, and adult lines are all popular uses. Direct response and transactional applications can also utilize pay-per-call. Examples include promotions, sweepstakes, polling, surveying, fundraising, sampling, customer service, order entry, and fax-back. The real advantage is that they allow the marketer to share the cost of a service with the customers who benefit. Local numbers, toll numbers, 800 numbers, and 900 numbers all have a place in business. Consider those that best meet your company’s needs.
