| About Me: |
Bi-coastal commuter, down-sized digital artist, award winning hot sauce maker. Home is in Rochester, NY, day job in Los Angeles. Downsized digital artist from Eastman Koday Company in 1999, working doing visual effects for Sony Pictures in Culver City. Used to be an awesome job (still is sometimes) but the studios and facilities are making it harder and harder to have a life outside of work. Too many hours/days per week with not enough compensation makes it hard to stay motivated. Outside of work food is probably the biggest part of my life. As a good cook, nothing turns me on more than cooking for friends and watching the look on their faces as the taste and enjoy the food. Many of the meals are based around the hot sauces that my company All Spice Cafe produces. |

| About My Business: |
All Spice Cafe Gourmet Hot Sauces - started making hot sauces in 1980 for home use, never intended on selling them. Sime spending so much time in CA, many of my friends and colleagues urged me to start selling them and started with a deli on Abbot Kinney in Venice. Also had an opportunity to sell the sauces at a home show in Anaheim - went very well and soon some of the people who purchased the sauces contacted me about purchasing more. Entered the sauces in several competitions, multiple winner at the Fiery Food and Barbecue Show in Albuquerque, NM, the Zest Fest in Fort Worth, TX, the Hot Pepper Awards in NYC as well as voted the best Hot Sauce Maker by Los Angeles Magazine in Aug, 2008. The sauces are currently available in abot 60 stores and restaurants in the US and Canada. Also in about 15 - 20 Whole Food stores in southern CA, working on getting them into the whole southern Pacific region. Food is my passion and spicy foods are what I really enjoy. Living in 2 places, Rochester, NY and Los Angels, makes it difficult to save the money I need to make All Spice Cafe a full time thing. Realizing that in order to get a SBA loan or investor I need to have a business plan (and very little time outside of my day job to do it) and I'm hoping perhaps you can help. |
