My predominant experience is within Information Technology.  I've worked as an IT employee in state government (Washington), and in the private sector.  My 30 year IT career has included mainframe programming, systems analysis, divisional liaison, and various other positions sometimes involving very technical matters, and sometimes not.  (I have ATA in Information Processing and BS in Computer Business Applications.)

I recently ended 4 years subcontracting independently with engineers of several companies on research and development of medical devices.  In that effort, I was variably test designer, tester (software & hardware), technical writer, and data analyst for a few very large, well known corporations (Ethicon-Edosurgery, Hill-Rom, Cincinnati SubZero-Medical, etc.).   

I am currently employed as a Senior Business Systems Analyst at a top children's research hospital.  

By way of additional experience and knowledge...  In the 90s, I formed a residential construction company, which was a short-lived, but very enjoyable project.  My wife and I talk about doing that again some day. 

I spent a couple years trying to create and operate my own advertising/promotional business, as well.  It had promise and potential etc, but my experiences with sales related endeavors have all been abysmal. 

My interest is in finding someone with whom I can partner.  I don't need funding as much as I need someone to work with me on project ideas.  In exchange, I'd share all profit from all work 50/50.  My ideal partner has wide experience and depth of knowledge in software engineering and mechanical and/or electronic engineering; would like to be an involved partner who can get enthused about putting together some great ideas, and who wants to do his/her own "thing" as much as possible.  Someone who would love to take cool ideas (generated by us), and help discover what it takes to make it happen - then do it together.  "Best fit" is someone open to possibilities, open to life challenges; loves to dream a little; expects to work alot; not too negative or opinionated about life or judgmental about people.  

I have a few ideas that could change things in a big way.  I need a little expertise, and someone to work with.
