KersTech is in the business of designing and producing an after-market retrofit system to convert fleet heavy trucks (over 26k pounds), school buses, transit buses, and garbage trucks into diesel-electric hybrids. There are currently over 1 million fleet vehicles as candidates and less than 10% will be replaced each year. New hybrids cannot address the installed base. The market is ripe for a modest conversion that allows fleet operators to enjoy fuel savings while reducing emissions. |
