| About Me: |
I have been a commercial photographer for over 20 years. I started my career in San Francisco and relocated to Los Angeles in 1998. I've been hired to shoot commercial ad campaigns by clients throughout the US for my ability to let people be themselves and to capture a very real moment. My technique and way with people has been developed through years of working with all kinds of talent both “real” and professional, two legged and four legged. On our sets I've consistently managed freelance crews of 25 or more people. Over the course of my career, I've learned all aspects of my industry and have worn all of the hats. I have found that the best people for a job not only have to be talented, but also need to be "people" people, otherwise the results aren't believable. You see, lifestyle images should feel like, well, life, and the creative process starts with the observation of people in, what would seem to be, very ordinary moments. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm with my three favorite people, my wife and two young sons, as well as our "oldest son" Buddy our 12 year old Lab. In my spare time I both teach and play volleyball on the beaches of Southern California. |

I have been a commercial advertising photographer for over 20 years and have shot exclusive stock image libraries for some of the country's largest companies, including Kaiser Permanente, Petsmart, Purina, and Mass Mutual Insurance Services. My partners include formerly employed management of JupiterImages. Our stock imagery agency will be an alternative to the big names in the stock photography industry, delivering our content in a much more useful way. Our competition is big, but can be convoluted in their content and hit-or-miss in their search results. We will be an alternative to these giant stock houses, providing imagery that is both cutting edge and user friendly at the same time. They aren't providing imagery the way we will, but to compete for business we have to start big and just get bigger. |
