Sabri Sansoy is founder & CEO of Green Wavelength, a bio inspired, clean energy company. He's an avid sailor and understands well the importance of power management while at sea. He received his undergraduate degree in Astrophysics from the University of New Mexico and received his masters in Aeronautics & Astronautics from MIT. Sabri then joined the Air Force and served 4 years as a true rocket scientist, working on advanced missile systems. He spent the next 10 years on several high profile aerospace projects. He was featured in People Magazine, Popular Science and Smithsonian’s Air & Space Magazine for his contributions on Team Remax, which was an attempt to fly a manned balloon nonstop around the world in the stratosphere. He has also engineered components for Indian Motorcycles and worked on several US Air Force rocket and satellite systems. Then the dotcom happened. He left aerospace to become the director of technology and ultimately the CTO at Icebox.com, which was a groundbreaking internet company that assembled an unparalleled lineup of writers, producers and animators to create original animated online programming. After icebox folded, he became the Vice President of online entertainment at Sony Picture’s Game Show Network. His responsibilities included supervising a cross-functional team of local and offshore employees in the research and development of innovative technologies to support multiplatform initiatives. During his tenure, his team was nominated 4 times for an Emmy for their work in interactive television After a 7 year run at GSN, he was offered a great opportunity as Chief Technology Officer with an animation firm called Animax Entertainment. There he managed a large team of software engineers, building virtual worlds and online games.

The tagline for the company is "Clean Energy Thoughts to Dirty Details of Execution" The company is about to field test their first wind mill prototype, which is based on the hovering mechanics of humming birds and bumble bees. After successful testing the company will seek funding to continue improvement of concepts and eventually sale and distribute 1 - 10KW systems for home and small business use. |
