| About My Business: |
Heirs of Promise Community Technology Center is a groundbreaking community technology center based on multimedia publishing, digital music studio production and natural product creations. The center teaches youth ages 13 to adult, how to create products, package them, and sell them in a retail setting. The center will be located in the Sumter County area and housed in a large storefront building with offices, computer classrooms, product creation workshops, a kitchen, a digital music studio, game room and a retail store. The classes taught are Multimedia Publishing, Product Creation, Digital Studio Mixing, along with game creation and video instruction. Product creations made by the center include: communication materials, CDs, Videos, DVDs, video games, bath products, candles, hair products, lotions, perfumes, sachets, spice blends, fruit juices and more. Each year a new product creation will be added. Heirs of Promise CTC competitive edge is that our products are not in simulation or constructive projects only, like our competitors, but are real products that students can actually take home, sell in retail stores and continue to work on their creations long after they have completed the course. The community center is positioned in the market as a high-end, quality service organization and as a retailer and educator. Heirs of Promise Community Technology Center (CTC) has chosen non-profit corporation as a legal structure for the organization. Sandra K. Bouie is the Founder and CEO of Heirs of Promise CTC. Mrs. Bouie recently developed a comprehensive business plan for the community center by taking an Entrepreneur Training and Development course through the Entrepreneur Development Network (EDN). Her extensive course included Business Concept, Personal Development, Marketing, Government Regulations, Management, Market Analysis, Product Placement, Positioning & Pricing, E-Commerce, Sales, Cash Flow Projection, Accounting, Credit, and Financial Statements. Sandra Bouie is confident, prepared and ready to manage this business. |
